Dr. Abdul Mujeebu has obtained Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering, from Kerala University, India; Master of Technology (M. Tech) degree in Energy Management, from National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC), India; and PhD degree and Postdoctoral Fellowship from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia. He is currently serving as Associate Professor at College of Architecture and Planning (CAP), Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Apart from the teaching assignments, he is Head of Academic Accreditation and Research Committee Member of the College. He guides the accreditation and research activities of all departments of CAP, such as preparing Self-Study Report, Annual Program Report, SWOT analysis, Strategic Planning, Risk Assessment, Trend Analysis, Quality Assessment & Verification Strategies, analysis of Key Performance Indicators, etc., and editing and shaping of research proposals and research articles. His research areas include Energy and Thermal Performance of Buildings, Combustion in Porous Media, Industrial Cogeneration and Trigeneration, Micro Combustors & MEMS, Nanotechnology, Electronic Cooling & Packaging, CFD analysis of energy systems, IC Engines and Combustion, Alternate Fuels and Refrigerants, Solar Cooling and Renewable Energy Systems. He is also interested in Higher Education Quality, Scientific Research Methodology, Technical Writing, Publishing and Communication Skills, and in materializing a “Self-Sustaining” higher education campus for future generations. He has over 20 years of professional experience including industry, teaching and research, and more than 70 publications in highly indexed journals. He is recipient of “Hall of Fame Award” from USM Malaysia for publishing excellence and has been recognized as external expert by European Commission for evaluating research proposals. He is Founder and Chief Editor of International Journal of Advanced Thermofluid Research (, and Founder and Chairman of International Research Establishment for Energy and Environment ( He also offers hands-on training on scientific research, writing and publishing.


Dr. Arun Vijay Subbarayalu

Dr. Arun Vijay Subbarayalu has obtained Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) & Master of Physiotherapy degrees (MPT) from Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, India, and PhD in Physical Therapy from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, Coimbatore, India. He has also obtained Master of Business Administration degree program (MBA) from University of Madras, India, and PhD in Business Administration with specialization on Total Quality Management, from Madurai Kamaraj University, India. Moreover, he is recipient of ‘Six Sigma Belt’ certifications from Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Coimbatore and Anexas Consultancy, Europe. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor in Quality Management and Director of Performance Measurement & Institutional Research Unit, of the Deanship of Quality & Academic Accreditation (DQAA) at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His research areas include higher education and healthcare quality management with specific focus on developing continuous quality improvement strategies. His primary research interest is to improve the quality of higher education & healthcare using six sigma methods. As a contribution to institutional research and development, he has developed a six-point rating scale using six-sigma model to manage quality of Higher Education programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has published a text book, and more than 25 publications in highly indexed journals. He is recipient of best teacher award from Dr. MGR Medical University for his exceptional contributions in teaching in the year 2010. He offers short-term hands-on workshop on the application of statistical tools in scientific research, and he conducted more than 15 such workshops since 2010. He can also provide technical and managerial assistance to develop and upgrade higher education institutions till the final preparedness for academic accreditation through preparation of Self-study report, development of Policies & procedures and Strategic plan for quality assurance at university level, and to establish a sustainable Quality Assurance Center in a university. He possesses thorough working knowledge to develop, analyze and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of both academic and administrative functions of Higher Education institutions.

Prof. A. S. Kittur was born and brought up in Dharwad, the educational hub of Karnataka State, South India. He is basically a Mechanical Engineer with over 38 years of work experience in industry and reputed educational Institutions in different fields of engineering, management and education. Apart from his wide experience in India, he has worked in Germany, Egypt, Sweden and Greece, and has well-travelled across the world. Presently he is the Dean, Student Development Center, of Shail Group of Institutions, Indore (Madhya Pradesh). The future of the students’ career is his main concern, and he looks forward for a long term association of academic institutions with reputed companies, industries and organizations. He arranges training and employment opportunities to the students with a view to create a long term career with the industry, rather than simple placement. Dr. Ritesh G. Menezes

Prof. Dr. Ritesh G. Menezes earned his MBBS and MD from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Deemed University), Manipal, India and DNB (Diplomate of the National Board) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India. He was the Professor & Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine at ESIC Medical College and Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (Government of India), Bangalore, India. He is presently a Professor of Forensic Medicine at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He has actively participated in international conferences held in Greece, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and USA (New Orleans, Denver, Pittsburgh, and Seattle). He has more than 200 publications in PubMed indexed journals (including 1 correspondence in Nature and 2 in the Lancet) to his credit with more than 2800 citations. He is on the International Editorial Board of the Journal of Forensic and Legal Medicine, the official journal of the Faculty of Forensic & Legal Medicine, Royal College of Physicians, UK, and has reviewed papers for the Medicine Science and the Law, Burns, Clinical Anatomy, World Health and Population, Rural and Remote Health, BMC Medical Education, BMC Public Health, Science and Engineering Ethics, Human and Experimental Toxicology, the Lancet Global Health, the Lancet Infectious Diseases, to name a few journals. He has contributed 5 invited chapters published in the prestigious Encyclopedia of Forensic and Legal Medicine (2nd edition; Elsevier).


Prof. Dr. Jayakumar

Prof. Dr. Jayakumar is a Chemical Engineering graduate (Bachelor of Technology) from Kerala University, India. He has obtained Master of Science (Engineering) degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India and Doctor of Philosophy degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. He was working in the premier research institute Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) as Scientific Officer at various capacities. In BARC, he was responsible for (i) reactor core thermal hydraulic studies, (ii) analysis of transients, operational occurrence and (ii) safety analysis and simulation of Light Water Nuclear Reactor Systems. Currently he is Professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering of Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita University, Kollam, India, for the past seven years. He has been instrumental in establishing the Master of Technology program in Thermal & Fluids Engineering under the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering of this University. He is a member of Board of Studies of the Post Graduate and Under Graduate programs in Mechanical Engineering. His research areas include Computational Fluid Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Advanced Heat Transfer, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning, Multiphase flow and heat transfer, Biofluid mechanics, Numerical Methods & Algorithms, Humidification De-Humidification Solar Desalination System, Heat Pipes, Destratification and sloshing of Storage Tanks, Nuclear Reactor Heat Transfer, Nuclear Power Plant Safety Analysis, Heat exchangers using nanofluids, Boiling, Condensation, Renewable Energy and Energy Storage, Thermal Hydraulics Studies etc. Apart from the technical commitment, he is also keen in various social activities aimed at quality education and training.
